It's been a great month in the vocal music department! The New York trip was fabulous!!Five days of running through New York, we got to see so many wonderful things! The kids were great and represented McBain well! Harmonee, Sound Source and Middle School went to District Festival on March 5 and all three groups recieved EXCELLENT ratings which qualified all three for State Festival in May. I am proud of them all! :)

High school students should be getting close to having their accounts paid in full for New York! We will be having a parent meeting soon to go over details for the trip. Accounts will need to be paid in full no later than Jan. 31, please. The kids have started to fundraise for spending money for the trip or to add to individual accounts for the future.

Yesterday was the first day back since break. We started working toward the HighLiter show music and also read through some pieces for choral festival with the other choirs. Starting next week the choirs will begin a fundraiser. Students may put money in individual accounts or they may use the money as spending money for the New York trip. Students should be getting close to having the New York trip paid in full at this point.
