This week students are in full rehearsal for upcoming concerts, they should be starting to think about uniforms for the fall concert. T-shirts will be ordered for middle school girls and the rest of the uniform information should have gone home, so that you know what is provided by the school and what needs to be provided at home. Fantastic HighLiter Show and we are working towards our concert on June 4. Looking forward to finishing the year on a high note.

HighLiter Show tickets are now available through the HighLiters or music department. Looking forward to the many events that are happening such as State Festival and HighLiter show.

It has been a very busy two weeks! We are in full swing for preparation for the HighLiter show with 7am rehearsal each morning. Next week we will only have early morning rehearsal on M, T, W due to the break and baseball practice.  Harmonee and Middle School Mixed Chorus are both working on music for State Festivals. Times for performance are in for State Solo and Ensemble are as follows: Harmonee is on at 5:00, Cara Neverth 5:30, Jessica Jenema 6:00 and Jordan Overmyer at 9:00 (ugh!). We have requested Tuesday, May 7 for Choir Festival but not guaranteed anything. We would appreciate the support at State Festival in Big Rapids on April 12 at the times listed above.

Congratulations to the Middle School Choir for receiving excellent ratings and qualifying for State Festival. We will be participating in May at CMU. Harmonee received excellent ratings at Solo and Ensemble Festival and they will also be going to State competition in April at Big Rapids High School along with several soloists. Sound Source has just begun work on music for the Pops Concert in June, and HighLiters is in full swing for the show with seven a.m. rehearsals beginning on Tuesday morning. We are excited about the success that we have had so far and are continuing to work hard to make the end of the year great!

Next week Monday March 4 is Choral Festival for Middle School Mixed Choir. Permission slips coming home tonight about times and specifics. See you at conferences.

Solo and Ensemble Festival is this week Wednesday. We are looking forward to a good day for our ensembles and soloists.

Choirs are working on materials for festival. Some individual singers are also getting ready for solo events at solo and ensemble festival in two weeks. HighLiters have started choreography for the show.

All of the choirs are working on their next projects. Highliters have started working on music for the show and Harmonee,Sound Source and Middle School Choirs are working on music for festival.
